Dr Smith is a board-certified neurologist and earned his doctorate in osteopathic medicine at Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in Missouri. Following his residency at Michigan State University, Dr Smith went on to complete a fellowship in headache medicine at Mayo Clinic College of Medicine. Dr Smith subsequently joined the St. Luke’s Health System in Boise, Idaho in 2015 as a member of its neurology group where he specializes in treating complicated, medically refractory headache and facial pain conditions. He’s active in clinical research, and his work has been published in multiple peer-reviewed journals. He lectures frequently on migraine and other headache disorders.
Dr Smith currently helps guide Efficient’s gap analyses and related program development specific to migraine and related headache disorders. Dr Smith is involved in the strategic planning, implementation and oversight of all accredited activities developed by Efficient in these areas.
