Alex is a United States Coast Guard veteran, serving as an Operation Specialist until 2015. While in the service, he earned his bachelor’s degree in psychology from American Military University followed by a master’s in public administration at Suffolk University. Alex began his career in continuing medical education in 2015, overseeing the operational management of accredited Learning Communities at the Pediatric Physician Organization at Boston Children’s Hospital. In 2019, he took his skills to Harvard Medical School’s Post Graduate Medical Education department where he managed a large portfolio of accredited continuing education programs. At Harvard, he was heavily involved in all phases of the activities, working closely with course directors and administrators from 16 affiliated hospitals to bring each program from course approval through program delivery.
Alex is responsible for the oversight and ongoing project management of Efficient’s portfolio of continuing education activities.
