arah earned a MS and a PhD in microbiology from the University of Delaware with bench training in molecular microbiology, disease pathogenesis, and public health. She received postdoctoral training at the University of Florida Emerging Pathogens Institute (UF EPI) and United States Department of Agriculture-Agricultural Research Service (USDA-ARS) where she led teams of researchers to address various public health challenges. During her academic career, Sarah published numerous original research articles in peer reviewed journals, book chapters, abstracts and poster presentations, and scientific articles on social media platforms.
Sarah entered the field of medical writing in 2017. Before entering the continuing medical education (CME) field, Sarah worked for a nonprofit health technology assessment service (HTAIS) evaluating the efficacy and safety of medical devices in oncology. Since then, Sarah has developed hundreds of successful educational initiatives for oncology/hematology clinicians across several CME companies. Sarah joined EfficientCME in 2023 as a Director of Scientific Affairs, specializing in oncology/hematology therapeutic areas, and assists in all aspects of Efficient’s scientific operations.
